Fall Ball is Coming Soon!

Fall Ball is coming!! We've had a ton of inquiries about fall ball including when sign-ups are, when the season begins and when it ends, which league do I play in and how much registration is? We are finalizing those details but wanted to get the following information out to our families.

1) Fall Ball season sign-ups will begin at the beginning of September, if not sooner. If you have not already, register as a user on our website,

so that you receive notifications about registration, etc. We will be doing online registration, but still plan to offer a couple of opportunities to do in person registration for families that require assistance.

2) The Fall Ball season typically runs from the end of September until the week prior to Thanksgiving, weather permitting. Fall Ball is an instructional season that is intended to help prepare your child for Spring. Our tentative plan is the following;

T-Ball (Ages 4-6) Monday and Wednesday 
Rookie/Machine-Pitch (Ages 6-8) Tuesday and Thursday
Minors/Player Pitch (Ages 8-11) Tuesday and Thursday
Majors (Ages 9-12) Monday and Wednesday
50/70 (Ages 11-13) TBD based on interest

*What division your child plays in is based on several factors including their age, the team they played on in the spring, your request, and registration numbers. Their League Age can be found by clicking on the following link;…/determine-league-age/

*First 2 or 3 weeks will be 2 practices and then when games begin it will be 1 practice and 1 game per week. Times TBD.

*Subject to change based on registration numbers.

3) To find out what league's boundaries you fall into, enter the address of either your child's residence or their current school’s address into the League Finder at the following link;…/league-finder/

4) The Cape Coral American Little League is run completely by volunteers. Besides waiting for the rainy season to slow, the reason why the fall season does not begin until September is that the organization’s Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Elections take place the first Thursday in September (Official Notice forthcoming including time, location and details). With that, if you are interested in becoming a Board Member or have additional questions of what that entails, please send us an email to [email protected] Elections are held annually, meaning all positions become available every September. Although we have several board members that are interested in returning, we need several more that are willing to commit to the organization and operation of our kids’ baseball league. Additionally, if you have a special skill such as social media, websites, organization, communicating, etc. and want to offer a service not as a board member, please let us know as your skill or talent may help out with reducing a board member’s responsibilities or duties. You do not have to be a board member to help out, but we certainly need them to operate the league. It takes a village!
